Learning, your child’s way
Every child is different. Their interests, strengths, pace and ambitions are different too.
At ISLA we believe children can develop when they are supported as individuals rather than expected to fit a single educational model. We have created a learning community where children are guided to develop academically, socially and personally through experiences that are engaging and adapted to their own journey.
Our role is not to ask every learner to do the same. Our role is to create an environment where children receive the guidance and encouragement they need to keep moving forward with confidence.

Individual learning pathways
Every learner at ISLA follows an individual pathway that reflects their age, interests, goals and family preferences. Depending on the child, this may include independent study, structured learning programmes provided by recognised educational partners, small-group guidance, projects, outdoor experiences, sport and individual coaching.
ISLA facilitators help learners organise their learning, monitor their progress and build the confidence and independence needed to take increasing ownership of their development.
Rather than comparing children with others, we focus on helping every learner continue growing from where they are today.
Learning happens everywhere
We promote a wider vision to learning. Some learning happens around a table, some happens in nature and some happens while building something with others, solving a real problem or discovering a new passion.
We believe meaningful development happens when children experience a balance between intellectual challenge, physical activity, creativity and real connection with the world around them.
That is why our community brings together academic support, outdoor experiences and movement.

A community that knows every learner
Our small learning community allows facilitators to know each child personally, recognise their strengths and understand when they need encouragement, support or greater challenge.
Families are active partners in this process. Through regular conversations, shared goals and open communication, we work together to create the conditions in which children can flourish.

Preparing for life
The future asks for much more than academic knowledge alone.
Young people need curiosity, resilience, critical thinking, collaboration, confidence and the ability to keep learning throughout life.
These qualities are developed gradually through everyday experiences, relationships and increasing independence.
Our ambition is to help every learner become a capable, confident young person who enjoys learning and is ready for whatever comes next.

Our staff
Our staff bring international experience to ISLA Academy. With different nationalities represented, our learners grow up in a real multilingual environment: English native speakers engage with them in English, while Spanish native speakers do so in Spanish.
Each staff member contributes their own expertise and passions. We are proud of our diverse, rich learning environment.
Mallorca Tutoring Academy
For our secondary years we work together with the Mallorca Tutoring Academy (MTA). MTA has 15 years experience in innovative, highly personalised blended learning, tutoring and revision support.
Learning at MTA combines the renowned online Wolsey Hall programme with live tutoring from passionate, qualified experts. Students and alumni highly rate MTA with many (re)discovering their love for learning.
