Registration Procedure

Our registration procedure consists of 3 steps.

  1. Show your interest by filling out the Admission Form.
  2. ISLA will contact you within 48 hours to schedule a meeting. Depending on your situation this will be in person or online. The purpose of this meeting is for us is to get to know you and your family. We will answer any questions you may have about our academy and our values.
  3. In order to complete the enrollment procedure we will send you an invoice for the enrollment fee and deposit. After your payment we offer your child a place in class or put him or her on the waiting list.

British Curriculum

For core subjects ISLA follows the British curriculum. Therefore your child needs to be able to understand, speak, write and read in English (not applicable to the younger children). To assess this every new child takes an entry exam. If your child’s English proficiency is currently low, we are pleased to advise you on steps to improve.

Please note

  • In the entry exam we also assess Maths to determine the current level. After we received your admission form we will send you the learning objectives that correspond to your child’s age.
  • We require the last two years’ reports and any other relevant information
  • In general, children are placed according to their date of birth. However, if you believe there are reasons to assign your child to another year group, please inform us. In such cases, we will administer appropriate academic tests and assess their social competences.
  • We admit new children during the academic year.
